New location at the port of Dubai

Militzer & Münch extends its service portfolio and expands customer base

Relocation in Dubai: In October, the Militzer & Münch team moved from the airport to the sea port. Here, textiles can be trans-shipped, and the team can now load containers directly, which had not been possible at the old warehouse. The first new customers already benefit from these additional services.

The entire Militzer & Münch team moved to Jebel Ali Free Zone, which is situated at the port of Dubai. The new location consists of a modern, temperature-controlled warehouse area that can be extended at any time, and an office. At the old Dubai Airport Free Zone location, a handling agent now sees to the airfreight shipments.

New customers, new services


In August 2017, Anil Manath was appointed Managing Director of Militzer & Münch Dubai. Since then, the customer base has been expanded, the service portfolio has been broadened. “New services are, among others, the textile transports from and to India, and the import of flavorings for the tobacco industry”, says Nikolaus Kohler, Regional Managing Director Middle East / Central Asia at Militzer & Münch. “Moreover, we do the warehouse management for a manufacturer of printing cartridges.” At this time, Militzer & Münch is distributing the cartridges in the states of the Gulf Cooperation; transports to Africa are to follow. The containerized products come from Vietnam, from Serbia and other European countries.

Militzer & Münch Dubai offers its customers all transport modes, at the new location though, the focus is mainly on sea freight.

The new location provides a warehouse and also office space to the Militzer & Münch team.
